Bringing Online Programs To Those In Need
OUR VISION
At the Change Your Brain Foundation, we believe that better brains create better lives. To fulfill our mission of improving brain health across the lifespan, we are expanding access to our signature educational programs: Brain Thrive Pre-K to Grade 1 and Brain Thrive by 25.
Our goal is to raise $2,000,000 to bring these transformative, science-based programs to at least 20,000 individuals through partnerships with schools, churches, treatment clinics, and corporations. These age-targeted curricula are designed to teach practical, neuroscience-backed tools for brain health—empowering individuals to thrive cognitively, emotionally, and socially.
At an average cost of $100 per participant, this initiative allows us to maximize impact and deliver meaningful brain health education at scale.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
Brain Thrive Pre-K to Grade 1
This science-based early childhood program is designed for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders. Through interactive lessons and age-appropriate visuals, children are introduced to brain basics and empowered to make good choices that support healthy development.
Key learning objectives include:
- Understanding that the brain is the “boss” of the body.
- Naming and locating major regions of the brain (cerebrum, cerebellum, brain stem).
- Learning to protect the brain with helmets and smart choices.
- Recognizing how nutrition, sleep, and exercise fuel a healthy brain.
- Identifying emotions and practicing healthy ways to express them.
- Encouraging kindness, gratitude, and the ability to reframe negative thoughts.
- Reinforcing learning through music, movement, stories, and activities.
Brain Thrive by 25
Targeted toward adolescents and young adults, this science-based curriculum helps participants understand and optimize their developing brains. With engaging modules and relatable examples, it offers tools to improve decision-making, mental resilience, and emotional regulation.
Key topics include:
- How the brain develops and why it’s not fully mature until about age 25.
- The function of different brain systems and how they impact behavior.
- The effects of drugs, alcohol, and toxins on brain health.
- Strategies to overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and negative thinking.
- Daily habits that build a strong brain: nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress reduction.
- The power of purpose, goals, and healthy relationships in shaping the brain.
A Revolutionary Approach to Drug & Alcohol Prevention
Both programs—especially Brain Thrive by 25—are built around a powerful prevention strategy: teaching students to fall in love with their brains so they naturally avoid harmful behaviors. Rather than relying on fear or shame, we engage students through:
Both programs—especially Brain Thrive by 25—are built around a powerful prevention strategy: teaching students to fall in love with their brains so they naturally avoid harmful behaviors. Rather than relying on fear or shame, we engage students through:
- Real brain imaging that shows the difference between healthy and drug-affected brains.
- A focus on self-respect, empowerment, and long-term success.
- Debunking popular myths like “alcohol is healthy,” “marijuana is harmless,” or “vaping is safe.”
- Framing every choice as a step toward the future they want.
How Funds Will Be Used
With a fundraising goal of $2,000,000, the initiative aims to impact at least 20,000 people. Funds will be allocated to:
- Curriculum distribution and delivery across schools, churches, clinics, and corporations.
- Creation of new age-specific programs, including those for Grades 2–3, Grades 4–5, and Middle School.
- Ongoing curriculum updates to reflect emerging science, mental health research, and best practices.
- Support for educators, mentors, contractors, and facilitators implementing the programs.
- Marketing and outreach materials, including campaigns, digital assets, and print collateral.
- Travel expenses for training teams and facilitators to reach implementation sites.
- Management and oversight of implementation partners and program quality.
- Production of a high-impact sizzle reel (2–3 minutes) answering the 5 W’s —Who, What, Where, When, and Why—to drive awareness and engagement.
Our aCommitment
We are committed to making these life-changing brain health education programs accessible to those who need them most—at scale. Through intentional partnerships and strategic deployment, we aim to build a movement of brain-smart families, schools, communities, and workplaces.
